MQ7 Carbon Monoxide CO Gas Sensor The MQ?7 Gas Sensor is a semiconductor sensor designed to detect carbon monoxide (CO) gas in the air. It consists of a tin dioxide (SnO?) sensing element whose resistance changes in response to CO gas concentration. The sensor includes a heater to maintain optimal operating temperature, allowing accurate detection. The MQ?7 provides an analog output proportional to the CO concentration, making it easy to interface with microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi via an ADC. It is commonly used for safety monitoring, leak detection, and educational projects.Click here to view related productsFeaturesSensitive to carbon monoxide (CO)Provides analog output for gas concentrationIntegrated heater for stable and reliable operationLong life and low costSimple to interface with microcontrollersCompact and suitable for prototypingCan detect CO at low concentrationsOptional digital output on some modules with adjustable thresholdApplicationsCO leak detection in homes, garages, and officesCarbon monoxide safety alarmsPortable gas detectors and handheld safety devicesEnvironmental air quality monitoringIndustrial safety systemsSmart home automation with gas alertsEducational and hobbyist electronics projectsEmbedded systems and IoT applications*Product image for illustration purposes only, actual product may vary.
