It is a good quality product and pretty heavy and so far I have been using it for a week. I seasoned it three times before using. Seasoning process: 1) I washed it the very first time with water and a little dish soap and scrubbed it properly for 2 minutes. 2) Then wipe the (clean skillet's) water off with a cotton cloth. 3) I let it air dry for a few hours and then 4) Apply a thin film of food grade oil or butter with another cotton cloth over the whole body, inside, outside and handles too. then heat it on medium flame for 30 minutes-45 minutes. Then repeat the process of a) letting it cool and applying more oil all over the skillet and heating it for 30-45 minutes twice. I did the seasoning over a period of three days- once a day. The oil polymerized and created a non-stick film over the whole skillet. Now it is naturally non-stick and has decent protection from rusting. I intend to season it once in 3-4 months or may be once in a year as long as the seasoning stays. After use for cooking/frying food, I use salt and a metal wire scrubber to scrub the stuck food off and then wash it with normal water (no dish soap). Then I wipe off the water with a cotton cloth. I dont use dish soap again as it could erode the polymerized oil film.

<!-- Made from 100% food-grade Iron with 7 mm thickness. Cast iron Oven skillet is Pre-seasoned.
