Glucose syrup containing fructose. It is a purified concentrated aqueous solution of nutritive saccharides characterised by a high fructose content. It appears as a clear viscous liquid, from colourless to slightly straw-yellow, with a strong sweet taste and a neutral odour. Thanks to the small percentage of complex sugars, it is hardly cristallizing and has no conservation problems. Used in refermentation, it is quickly metabolized by yeast and easily dissolved in beer.
