Ceylon Naturals Organic Coconut Sugar is produced from the sap of the coconut tree harvested from the flower blossoms of organically grown coconut trees in the tropical island of Sri Lanka. In the process of making the coconut sugar, the sap is collected and heated until the water is evaporated, afterwards, it is dehydrated for sugar blocks or crystals to form which is then turned into a final golden-brown sugar. Our coconut sugar is a natural sweetener that has a milky, sweet taste and has a dark, golden brown color with a fresh smell of the tropics.
