MQ303A Alcohol Sensor The MQ303A Alcohol Sensor is a semiconductor gas sensor designed to detect alcohol vapor (ethanol) in the air. It uses a sensitive metal oxide (typically tin dioxide, SnO?) sensing element whose resistance changes when exposed to alcohol molecules. This change in resistance can be measured and correlated to the presence of alcohol vapor. The sensor includes a heater to bring the sensing material to its optimal operating temperature and is commonly used in breath alcohol detection, safety systems, and embedded electronics projects.Click here to view related productsFeaturesSensitive to alcohol vapor (ethanol)Uses a metal oxide semiconductor sensing elementAnalog resistance change output proportional to alcohol concentrationIntegrated heater for stable operationCompact and low-cost sensorSimple to interface with microcontrollers (ADC required)Fast response and recovery characteristicsSuitable for prototyping and embedded useTypical ApplicationsBreath alcohol detection systemsPortable alcohol vapor detection devicesVehicle safety and ignition interlock prototypingEnvironmental and air quality sensingSmart home safety alertsEducational and hobbyist electronics projectsEmbedded and IoT sensor applications*Product image for illustration purposes only, actual product may vary.
