MQ7 Carbon Monoxide Gas Sensor Module The MQ?7 Carbon Monoxide Gas Sensor Module is a low?cost semiconductor gas sensor designed to detect carbon monoxide (CO) in the air. It uses a sensitive tin dioxide (SnO?) sensing element whose resistance changes in the presence of carbon monoxide gas. The module includes a heater to bring the sensing material to its optimal operating temperature and typically features analog output (and sometimes a digital output comparator) for easy interfacing with microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi (with an ADC). The MQ?7 is commonly used for basic CO detection in safety and monitoring systems.Click here to view related productsFeaturesDetects carbon monoxide (CO)High sensitivity to CO gasAnalog output proportional to gas concentrationOften includes digital output with adjustable thresholdIntegrated heater for stable operationLow cost and long service lifeEasy to integrate with microcontrollers via ADCCompact module suitable for prototyping and embedded designsApplicationsCO leak detection in homes, garages, and enclosed spacesCarbon monoxide safety alarms and monitoring systemsPortable gas detectors and handheld safety devicesEnvironmental air quality monitoringIndustrial safety systems requiring basic CO detectionSmart home automation with gas warning alertsEducational and hobbyist projects involving gas sensing*Product image for illustration purposes only, actual product may vary.
